The Council for State Government’s Criminal Justice team works with states to help them to identify opportunities for justice reinvestment, which reduces criminal justice spending and reinvests the savings in strategies that can decrease crime and reduce recidivism.

The Council asked Aggregate for help with generating demand in states for their services, attracting funding for the Center’s justice reinvestment work; and encouraging adoption of policy options in states.

Aggregate’s strategy focused on increasing understanding of the purpose and value of justice reinvestment to states; celebrating the accomplishments of the states with which Center has partnered on justice reinvestment; explaining the unique, thorough and valuable process undertaken by the Center to partner with the states to achieve their justice reinvestment goals; and improving the Center’s brand as a justice reinvestment thought leader.
